Heh, shame about Brazil in WSC 65, but can't say I didn't see it coming.

Looking forward to seeing if any countries I am familiar with end up freeing anytime in the future. Would be interesting to join again, but don't want to take a country from someone who might be able to represent it better. It would also feel wrong that I send something just for the sake of sending if I can't find atleast three entries I'm in general happy with.

For now, good luck in WSC 66 everyone.

I can't believe how Andorra didn't make it :[ it grew up a lot in me and it should've been my twelve this time... Same for San Marino and Spain... Some wtf things but still I like the results. Good luck all and don't forget to take a journey with Eire

It's interesting that from 16 European entries in the Final there is no song from the Southeastern Europe or why not say from the Balkans. Turkey, Greece, Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia and Albania, all (except Greece this time) sent entries in their strange and abstruse native languages, but weren't lucky enough. My congratulations to the countries that made it. I hope the Balkans will be luckier next time.

Well done for the wsc66 mini site. I also like the idea of having songs divided by continent, things are more fair this way and it feels more like a WORLD song contest!

Well done to the ones who' ve made it to the finals and better luck to the rest next time. I was sad to see some songs I really liked failing to qualify, but happy for the ones I loved and made it!

So If I want to keep my country I must take part in the race with another players.  =='

And by the way, speaking about rules, but this is for everyone now... I let some countries take part this time even if the song was against the rules... I remind you some basics here:

1. Please always check that your song is not a cover... (it happened with New Zealand)

2. Please check your form before sending it: what am I supposed to do if you send me a song title, but that the information are all about another song from the same artists ? (it happend with Spain)

3. Small countries has to check the specific rules... They can't play with the language they want (I let Belize play again with a song in Spanish... it's the last time)

4. The nationality of the artist is important, not the one of his parents. Check that rule too (I let Honduras play but it's the last time it can happen)

Usually, I close my eyes once when a rule is broken (except of course for covers), so please be aware of that,

Thanks.

Piotr, as you decided to publically complain, I answer here. First of all, sending an entry on the first day of the subscriptions doesn't mean you're first. For instance, Sandy asked me to keep Norway for her in WSC .66 because she can't take part in WSC .65. So if someone wanted to play for Norway this time I would let him played, but then Norway would be back to Sandy in WSC .66. It's not the first time, and it won't be the last time, that a player ask me to keep a country for him/her because he/she can't take part, and I always do it. If I'm not notified, then of course, I can't guess the player will be back or not. That's what happened with the former player for the USA, who didn't take part for several months.

So why does it took three weeks before I notify you ? Just because it took three weeks for everyone. Including those for which there was a problem. I'm sorry for that, but I can't devote time every day to the contest, so each mail I receive about WSC is put in a special folder of my mailbox and I answer them when I can devote time to them.

Now if you consider your journey here is over, then I can't do nothing against it. But you can always play for another country. There are some free "easy to play for" country available (and when I mean easy, it's because they have a huge music scene for which you can easily find information, and not only European countries). Now I'm sorry if you need more than three days to find a song...

Lol... I don't have my country, becouse someone was first. I sent my entry in the first houres of the subscription time (15th July) and after 3 weeks (sic!) Jonathan tell me that Poland is not free. (I don't get any screens of the mailbox)  I think in this contest is no rules. If you have got friends you will do everything. Bartosz is one of the most experienced player here so the new players are moving away. I'm sad that my trip with this contest is bring to the end.

Hi Sampsa! Nice to see you here even though you just came to said "hi"

The Player's Race hasn't been updated for a really long time though, so the actual one can be very different...

I also noticed I'm still 14th in Players' Race. You newbies need to step it up a bit!

Hey, sorry if I couldn't reply to all the stuff before. Been somewhat busy and as I said, I just came to say hi while passing by. Nonetheless - it's good to see Finland has done well in the last couple of editions even if the artists aren't what I would've sent.

Granted, my tastes have evolved alot aswell which people still hanging at Last.fm might've noticed. I've learnt to love progressive and avant-garde music even more so even if not as heavy I guess my picks would rather be quirkier and even less successful than before.;)

Have fun at WSC 65!
