Country: Malta Singer, songwriter and pianist Carrie Haber was brought up in the tiny island of Malta, which floats at the heart of the Mediterranean sea. She started studying piano at the age of five and wrote her first song when only 10. Her beautiful home was her inspiration and she took her time to develop her piano, singing and song-writing skills, determined to settle for nothing less than the best results. When the time was right she decided to move to London, which is where she now resides. At the Malta Music Awards 2009, Carrie won two important awards - Best Female Award and the Best Songwriter award. During the same night she gave an outstanding performance of her hit single, 'Me oh my'. |
